01/12/2011 : Nouveaux circuits oval : New Smyrna Speedway en pré-commande

"The 1.5 mile Kentucky Speedway is available now, while .48 mile New Smyrna is available for pre-sale and is expected to be up and running by the New Year."

Smyrna est en pré-commande et sera disponible pour la nouvelle année.

Sur InracingNews : Scanning What's in Store for iRacing with Tony Gardner

What is the status of these tracks that are currently signed?

Auto Club Speedway (aka Fontana) - Not scanned yet - rumors about it changing.

Autodromo Jose Carlos (aka Interlagos) - Working on getting a scan, some progress. Would love to get this track done.

Kansas Speedway - Making sure no changes to track before scanning.

[14/06/2012] Langley Speedway - Scanned, will finish this track in 2012.

Long Beach - Production was started and stopped as some members know. The spline is completely done. We will pick up working on this track again in 2012! It is big so not promising releasing in 2012!

Lucas Oil Raceway (aka IRP) - Production has started.

Miller Motorsports Park - On list to do at some point.

New Jersey Motorsports Park - Scanned, on list to do at some point

[21/12/2011] New Smyrna Speedway - Releasing next month - December 2011 - both night and day versions!

Oran Park Raceway - Will finish in 2012.

Tsukuba Circuit - Some production has started; would expect it will be done in 2012.

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park - Scanned, some production work done, but put on hold for now.

[08/2012] Circuit Zolder - Spline started; will finish in 2012.

[24/04/2012] Twing Ring Motegi is next road course that will be done and, I might add, a great track!

[14/02/2012] Daytona rescan is also coming before the Daytona 500.

Le circuit de Oulton Park devrait être disponible pour la saison 4 : dans 15 jours.

Les deux circuits et les deux voitures qui vont sortir en même temps qu'iRacing 2.0 sont disponibles en précommande :
-Iowa Speedway et Suzuka International Racing course
- Ford GT et LMP ARX 01c

Aucun avantage à acquérir en précommande. Mieux vaut attendre.

La discussion sur le forum officiel évoque l'opportunité de l'achat :

A mon avis. Et il ne faut pas être grand clerc pour arriver à cette conclusion : l'offre n'a rien d'exceptionnel et n'est pas intéressante.
- Il n'y a aucun intérêt à précommander (donc acheter) des items qui sortiront, pour certains dans 4 semaines et plus. C'est différent si on dispose de la somme en iracing crédit.
- Comment peut-on appeler ça une "bonne affaire" ? Depuis le commencement, cela a toujours été la règle (10, 20 et 25%)... pour des items obtenus immédiatement.
- Jusqu'à présent, les items précommandés (donc achetés en avance) faisaient bénéficier d'une "ristourne". Là, ça semble désomais terminé. Il suffira de sortir les items 3 par 3 à l'avenir.

Je ne commente ni ne critique le choix d'iRacing. Mais je trouve que c'est un manque de réflexion d'appeler ça : "une affaire".

Je croyais que cela obligeait à précommander les 4 items pour bénéficier des 25%. J'ai fait l'essai. Ca n'est pas le cas. On pourra acheter les items un par un.

18/03/2011 : Prochainement, HPD ARX-01C LMP2

The HPD ARX-01C LMP2 car is coming to iRacing. A debut winner in the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans, the HPD-ARX01C LMP2 is based on the cars that have scored more than two dozen class and overall victories in American Le Mans Series competition since 2007. Fitted for the first time last year with HPD's new 3.4 liter V8 engine, the nimble but powerful HPD ARX-01C LMP2 took Strakka Racing to the LMP2 class win at Le Mans (and fifth overall) as well as first place in the Michelin Green X Challenge.
The iRacing HPD ARX-01C LMP2 is expected to be available this summer.

19/01/2011 : Sprint Car en pré-commande

La nouvelle voiture pour ovale : Sprint Car, est disponible en pré-commande pour $11.95.

Si on l'achète avant sa sortie prochaine (au cours de la semaine 13), on sera crédité de $3.00 Iracing crédits avant le début de la saison 1-2011.
